Primewest has appointed Rydges Hotels and Resorts to manage the 300-room Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle. It is one of Western Australia’s major conference, corporate and leisure hotels.

Changes set to take place over a period of time will include the introduction of Rydges Dream Beds throughout the hotel, a significant upgrade of Wi-Fi services and a renewed focus on the hotel’s food and beverage offering – a strong foundation in any Rydges hotel.

Rydges have appointed one of their longest-serving and most senior executives to be the Hotel’s new General Manager. David Bornmann previously lived in West Australia when he managed Rydges Perth and is pleased to be returning home.

“The Esplanade is a real institution for both locals and visitors to Fremantle, so it’s a fantastic property to be aligned with,” he says. “We will be working hard to keep the best elements of the hotel, as well as adding some new touches to make guests’ experiences even better.”
