There is a new South American host at The Eastern. Chimmi has thrown open the doors to his home where enjoying great food, rum, cigars and dancing are the only house rules. A nod to his South American and Latin American heritage, Chimmi’s place is bursting with colour, movement and fun, fusing a carnival vibe with the atmosphere of a South American street.

Chimmi has more than 100 rums in his private collection sourced from South and Central America through to the Caribbean and Jamaica. He also offers traditional South American street fare including homemade empanadas and the snack that has taken New York by storm, arepas.
