Since its inception in 1950, Twin Towns Services Club has developed into a multi million-dollar business and the largest Services Club in Australia. The Management/Board of the club have begun a huge three-year/three-stage transformation. JVG Sound Lighting and Visual worked alongside Control Gadgets as the head audiovisual consultants of the newly completed Stage 1 of the proposed project work. Jade Golar, Managing Director of JVG worked closely with the Club, builders and programming specialists to produce a successful modern outcome for the project. JVG is now working on Stage Two of the project, to be completed prior to the end of 2012.
Stage One of the project concluded last September and saw the Sports Bar, TAB and entrance area updated. JVG installed a range of products including pro audio, a multitude of screens and automated video systems, as well as an upgraded Crestron Control system for the Club.
The new Sports Bar boasts two 103-inch Panasonic LED Plasma Screens for the Amphitheatre, an additional 103-inch display in the bar area and 40 x 46-inch commercial screens throughout — that’s a whole lot of sports broadcasting. JVG also installed a range of Samsung plasma screens in the new TAB area found on ground level of the Services Club. With the completion of Stage 1 and 2, JVG will have installed 109 Samsung screens for the project, as well as another two enormous 103-inch Panasonic LED Plasma Screens to the ‘Stage Area’ of the Stage 2 development. A Media Matrix Neon N6 system was installed in order to sync the staggering 32 audio inputs with the visual displays. Crestron 12-inch in-wall touch panels were also installed with full iPad control.
The Stage 1 area uses an Ezi 22-inch touchscreen system to enable complete control of all audio, video and lighting systems. Settings can also be remotely controlled via iPad connectivity, allowing the Duty Manager to move throughout the 26 zones of the establishment with complete control over all systems while on the move. The upgraded Crestron system now allows all screens and lighting features to be timed and preprogrammed to change settings automatically throughout the day.
Stage 2 completion is up next. This comprises a Gaming Facility, Stage Area, an updated Breezer’s Bar and Flames restaurant.
